Presentations and Workshops

Teaching Solutions offers you presentations and workshops that illustrate current language, society and culture topics in an easy-to-comprehend, fun and scientifically accurate way at your institution, your school or your company, for example for staff training, as part of an info day, or a cultural event. Our 30- to 90-minute talks can be offered in English or German (on request and after previous arrangement also in French) and, depending on individual requirements, also can contain hands-on workshop and practice components. Some of our topics:

  • Food, culture and identity, e.g. the British and American breakfast, recipes through the ages
  • Regional history, geography and culture
  • Aspects of the English language, e.g. English as a Lingua franca, English in an international context
  • The Anglo-American legal system
  • USA: State & society, e.g. the US presidential elections
  • Presentations on language & linguistics
